Sajidah had alleged that she was ill-treated since her marriage in 1985.<br /><br />"He humiliated me and finally deserted me in 2003 for an English woman," Sajidah, who retired as an airhostess from Air India last year, said in her petition in which she claimed monthly maintenance of Rs five lakh.<br /><br />However, she has not made any allegations against her mother-in-law.<br /><br />Sajidah said she had to buy a flat in suburban Andheri by obtaining loan while her husband was supporting an English woman at their bungalow in Panchgani hill station near Pune and in Scotland where he has a property spread over 59 acres.<br /><br />She claimed Hemant had sold many properties in Scotland and England and got substantial amount, while she had spent all her savings and had nothing left.<br /><br />61-year-old Hemant argued that Sajidah was not entitled to maintenance as she was earning and had a good income. He said he did not own any property in Mumbai and the Panchgani bungalow belonged to his mother.<br /><br />However, Hemant said, he owned a property in Scotland jointly with an English woman and it was bought to facilitate the education of their only daughter who is in her 20s.</p>
