<p>"The issues related to security have been discussed regularly between India and Myanmar including at the highest level. During the recent visit of General Than Shwe to India, both sides agreed to further strengthen the close cooperation between the security forces of the two countries," External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said.<br /><br />He was replying to a question in the Lok Sabha.<br /><br />Myanmar side also assured that it would not allow its territories to be used for activities "inimical" to India, Krishna said, adding both sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation and efforts along the border to fight insurgency.</p>
