We are free to wear anything as long as it is decent. <br /><br />We keep experimenting with different kinds of kurtas. <br /><br />Earlier, we used to wear kurtas with jeans, now leggings are in. Compared to jeans, leggings provide much more comfort as well as flexibility,” she includes.<br /><br />Ranjitha, another student, who was sporting green kurta and black leggings says, “Kurta is a popular apparel among college-goers as it can be worn both as a casual wear and a formal dress. Leggings come in different colours. The scope for mixing and matching leggings with kurtas is more.” <br /><br />Sowmyashree, another student adds, “Leggings are available at reasonable prices and not at all costly when compared to jeans. These days they are a must have in any girl’s wardrobe.” <br /><br />Apart from this, the students also like to make a style statement with fancy bags. The spacious leather bags are in vogue now on campus. Swaroopa says that these bags are easy to handle. <br /><br />“These bags are spacious enough to carry the notebooks. As they are reasonably priced, we buy a couple of bags in different colours and match them with our dresses accordingly,” she says. <br /><br />So from which place do these girls buy their stuff? “Gandhi Bazaar,” they answer in single voice. <br /><br />“As our college is near Gandhi Bazaar, we go there to buy most of our stuff. We get wonderful kurtas just for Rs 100,” exclaims Vidya. <br /><br />Shalini adds, “Even for accessories, bags and other stuff, our favourite destination is Gandhi Bazaar. Sometimes we shop at Jayanagar 4th block also.”</p>
