<p>The arrested has been identified as Munna Khan. He was nabbed on a tip-off yesterday from Cariappa Marg in Neb Sarai. Thirty-four bottles of Black Label, one carton of Chivas Regal, one carton of Mcdowell No 1 and one carton of Blenders' Pride were recovered from the car which Khan was driving.<br /><br />Khan allegedly used to take delivery of spurious liquor at a very cheap price from one Jai Prakash Chawla and supply the same to various parts of Delhi. He told police that Chawla allegedly used to refill low-priced liquor in the bottles of expensive brands, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal said.<br /><br />"At his instance, a raid was conducted at the residence of Chawla but he was not found there. But during the search of his house, huge quantity of liquor were recovered," he said.<br /><br />"The accused used to refill low-cost Indian whisky in the bottles by mixing them in a certain proportion and sell the same as original Scotch whisky especially of brands like Blue Label, Black Label, Green Label, Red Label and Gold Label.<br /><br />"They used to perform the same trick in rebottling expensive wines of Moet and Chandon. All this was carried with the help of sophisticated machines and equipment used for re-corking and resealing. Even the labels and boxes were specially prepared and printed," Dhaliwal said.</p>
