<p>The objective of this symposium is ‘to provide a platform for exchange of international educational experience of professionals in the field of speech and hearing and other related disciplines’.<br /><br />The mission and vision of International Education Week is promotion of international education and collaboration for professionals and students, to transcend education across the world through exchange of knowledge, resources and services and to plan comprehensive approach to education that intentionally prepares students to be active and engaged participants in an interconnected world.<br /><br />In view of encouraging wider exchange of international educational experience, scholars who have received international fellowship awards for higher learning/teaching from premier institutions in Mysore and other states of India are invited to participate in the symposium. Around 25 scholars share their knowledge and experiences. <br /><br />The program will also be held through video conference facility at Pondicherry, Jabalpur and Mumbai, the distance education centers of AIISH. <br /><br />The Symposium is co-sponsored by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), Chennai Branch. Director of AIISH, Dr Vijayalakshmi Basavaraj would preside the program, S Vasudevan, Regional Officer and Educational Advisor, USIEF, Chennai, Prof G N Rangamani, Fulbright Visiting Scholar at AIISH and Prof K S Prema, Symposium Coordinator and other scholars would participate in the symposium. The program will be held at the seminar Hall, Academic Block, AIISH Mysore from 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.</p>
