This includes 25 cases during 2008-09, 36 cases during 2009-10, and 11 cases during 2010-11. All the cases of crop loss have been reported in Udeva, Mallenahalli, Gangoor, Nandibatlu, Santhaveri, Jammapura, Hunasebailu in Lingadahalli hobli in Tarikere taluk. While domestic animals are killed by tigers and leopards, the crops are damaged by wild elephants and bison in the taluk, the officials said. <br /></p>
