Chill forces MCD to extend winter vacation in schools

The vacation was earlier scheduled from Dec 25-Jan 9.“Keeping in view the effect of low temperature on children, holidays in all MCD and its aided schools are being extended. The situation about cold wave will be re-assessed on the eve of the opening date,” a statement said.
