Dhoni's visit to the city comes within a week of the International Cricket (ICC) deciding to scrap the Eden Gardens as the venue for the important India-England World Cup match Feb 27.

A large number of journalists were at the venue to seek Dhoni's reaction to the ICC decision and team India's preparedness for cricket's biggest gala. But Dhoni disappointed everybody as he left the venue -- a five-star hotel -- within 20 seconds without taking any of the questions.

This sparked heated arguments between the organisers and reporters, who were earlier made to stand outside the venue for long hours. The scene at another promotional event of the Indian team players, including Dhoni, at New Delhi Wednesday was no different.

The players -- Dhoni, Yusuf Pathan, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla -- were brought in by Reebok,  the organisers of the event, after making the media persons wait for an hour and a half.
