The Sri Krishna temple is unique from other temples in the region. The temple has a statue of Srikrishna with flute. Pooja is offered to the statue daily.

During the festival, the statue of Sri Krishna will be worshipped under a peepal tree. Women clad in white saree representing each family carrying deepa, flowers will take part in ‘Pattani festival.’  The centre of attraction in the festival is flute. The community members play flute three times on the occasion.

It is said that Lord Sri Krishna was residing in one of the hillocks in the region. However, while leaving for Mathura, he had left the flute. Since then the people of the region have been worshipping flute. According to few, a flute which came floating in the river was taken away by the Golla community members and started worshipping it.
