He also became an American citizen in 1996, Aggarwal said.<br /><br />However, strains developed in their relationship later on and they used to quarrel all the time.<br /><br />On July 28, 2003, Sucha Singh forcibly entered the house of his mother-in-law Surinder Kaur and allegedly stabbed his wife to death with a knife, the SSP said.He also stabbed his mother-in-law Surinder Kaur and fled from the scene.<br /><br />A murder case was registered against Sucha Singh in Dallas, Texas, USA. After murdering his wife, he did clandestine works in America.<br /><br />During a raid in a factory, he was arrested by the police for unauthorised working and remained in jail for about 11 days.<br /><br />However, he managed to get a passport from Washington DC on August 10, 2007 with validity up to August 9, 2017, after changing his name to Suchvinder Singh.<br /><br />Information regarding the arrest of Sucha Singh was being sent to American Embassy, Union Ministry of External Affairs and other concerned departments, the SSP said.</p>
