Chhetri laments lack of facilities at home

“Middle East countries and other Asian countries have good grounds,” Chhetri said. “The training facilities there are superb. But in India proper training facilities are a luxury.”

“We are expected to compete at the highest level but then where are the facilities,” he asked. “There is no dearth of talent in our country but we need to nurture them well. But sadly we lack the proper system .”
