Melanahalli lake to be developed

He was speaking after performing Bhoomi Pooja for the work in Mallenahalli lake on Wednesday. He said that the lake will be beautified in all possible ways.

He informed that a proposal has been submitted to the government requesting to sanction Rs 10 lakh under Malnad Development Board for building a hall in Taluk office.

When enquired about the closing down of Nemmadi Kendras in Yagati, Hiirenallur, he said that people say that the centers were closed as they have failed to pay rent on time. “I have spoken to the organisation concerned and have ordered them to do the needful to open those centers,” MLA assured.

Later during his visit to various departments in the Taluk Panchayat, he observed that Manager Chandramouli for Bisi Oota scheme in the office had not signed the attendance book. He immediately ordered the officers to write a warning letter to the manager. He also asked Tahsildar to repair the computer in the Survey Department.

Meanwhile he informed that Rs 10 lakh has been granted for the construction of Ambedkar Bhavan in Kadur and additional Rs 10 lakh has been granted for the theatre construction in five villages.
