<p>Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Transport Minister R Ashoka said the BMTC had netted a profit of Rs 50.35 crore, while the KSRTC’s share of profit is Rs 65 crore.<br /><br />Stating that the two corporations have wiped off accumulated loss and have posted profit, he said the money will be utilised for providing infrastructure like bus terminals and more buses.<br /><br />Elaborating on some of the proposed bus terminus, he said one terminus will be constructed near Bengaluru International Airport at Devanahalli. <br /><br />“ We have procured two acre and 23 guntas of land there. We have already paid Rs 2.25 crore. The bus terminus will also host a hotel to cater to the travellers who come in the middle of the night and plan to leave in the morning by flight,” he said. <br /><br />However, he did not reveal the cost of the project.<br /></p>
