The handsome actor who was in the City recently, to play in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), spoke to Metrolife on his movies, why he likes the City and his latest projects. Nitin regards playing in Celebrity Cricket League as good exposure for him. <br /><br />“I am proud to represent ‘Telugu Warriors’. Our industry has been playing cricket on various occasions. We have organised cricket matches as a fund-raising event back home. Moreover, I have been playing cricket since my college days and CCL provided me an opportunity to relive those moments,” he says. <br /><br />He adds, “The game developed a bond among all the players. We got an opportunity to interact with stars from other industries. It was a wonderful experience.” <br /><br />Nitin, who rose to fame with hits like Jayam, Dil, and Sye, has had his share of ups and downs, in his career in the last nine years. He tried his luck in Bollywood as well. He played a leading role in Agyaat, a horror film directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film <br />released in 2009 but didn’t do well at the box office. <br /><br />The youthful actor describes Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan as his favourites. “I adore Amitabh Bachchan for his acting potential. He has portrayed a variety of characters and still retains the charm. Hrithik Roshan is another favourite and I am attracted to his dancing skills,” he praises. <br /><br />Nitin has now signed a new project titled Ishq, directed by Vikram Kumar. Malayalam actress Nithya Menon is starring opposite him and the film is produced by Vikram Gaud. <br />Nitin says Bangalore is one among his favourite cities. “The City is amazing with its neat blend of local and cosmopolitan culture. Whenever I come here, I like to hang out at MG Road and Brigade Road which bustle with people. The food is great,” he sums up.<br /></p>
