In Haryana’s Kasan village, a teenager was killed by her father to save “family honour” since she refused to go with a groom 33 years older to her, the police said.
In Punjab’s Jattpura village , 21-year-old Dalit youth, Gagandeep Singh, was found murdered on Monday near a canal, a day after he went missing. His parents blamed a better off Jat Sikh family for their son’s death as he wanted to marry their daughter.The girl is also untraceable, sources said.
