<p>A 17-year-old boy jumped to his death from the seventh floor of his apartment complex in Domlur on Thursday.<br /><br />The deceased, identified as Sovan Sharma posted a message on his Instagram account saying “I am going to jump without ropes,” before taking the extreme step. He was a Class 12 student at an international school in Sarjapur, police said.<br /><br />What happened where<br />The incident took place between 4 pm and 4.30 pm at the Natasha Golf View Apartments on the 100 Feet Road in Domlur Layout. <br /><br />Sharma lived with his parents on the second floor of the apartment. He had not gone to school since Monday and his parents had informed the school management that Sharma had taken ill.<br /><br /> On Thursday, the boy went to the seventh floor and jumped to his death. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. <br /><br />His body was shifted to Bowring Hospital for a postmortem on Friday.
