<p>Shivappa (50), a Sub-Inspector and Nyammanavar (30), a Constable, were allegedly ran over by a speeding lorry when they were trying to shift another lorry that had turned turtle in Belgaum, Superintendent of Police, Belgaum, Sandeep Patil said.<br /><br />An onlooker, Ravi (32) was also killed, he said. The lorry that ran over the trio has been seized and its driver is absconding, he said.<br /><br />Meanhwile, in another accident in Kalasthawadi on the outskirts of Mysore city, 20 persons including two children were injured when their maxicab turned turtle after the driver lost control of the vehicle while talking on his mobile phone.<br /><br />Efforts are on to nab the cab driver who fled the scene after the mishap, police said.</p>
