<p>The tragedy took place Saturday evening in Anghora village of Kota district, 240 km from Jaipur. The dead were identified as Jagdish Gujjar, 35, and his wife Phoranti Bai.<br /><br />A police officer told IANS that Gujjar had been warning his wife that he would commit suicide if she kept fighting with him. On Saturday he carried out the threat.<br /><br />"Phoranti Bai tried to drag her husband away from the tracks, but a speeding train ran over them. The woman died on the spot while the husband succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital," said the officer.<br /><br />Family members said the couple regularly fought over petty issues.</p>
