<p>Speaking at a B2B session here on Tuesday, Prabuddh Banerjee, country-head (India), Sri Lanka Tourism said, “With 2011 being planned as ‘Visit Lanka Year’, the country now offers an opportunity for Indians looking at a Ramayana Trail. There are more than 50 ancient sites dating back to Ramayana period in Sri Lanka. <br /><br />The sites identified include the vast lush greens plains, part of Ravana’s kingdom in ancient Lankapura that were set ablaze by Hanuman and temples constructed for Sita. <br />Banerjee said, incentives will be announced shortly for the Indian tourists. <br /></p>
