<p>Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club’s winger Malemngamba Meitei has signed a deal with Salgaocar SC and will take the field for the Goan giants in the coming season.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Meitei, who played for the HASC as a left-winger last season, has decided to move to Salgaocar after the Bangalore side were relegated from the I-League top division. “I have signed a two-year contract with Salgaocar. When I got an offer from Salgaocar coach Karim (Bencherifa) I didn’t have any second thoughts,” said Meitei.<br />The 20-year-old from Manipur, who has the ability to play on both wings, will begin training with Salgaocar in July. Salgaocar finished sixth in the I-League with 44 points. “I will be joining the new club in the second week of July. I hope I will be in the starting line up more often,” said Meitei.<br />Meitei’s contract with Aircraftmen expires on May 31 which means the player will not be available for the HASC’s Super Division matches which is expected to re-start next month. <br />“HASC’s new technical manager Chandru sir asked me to train with them for couple of days. So probably by the end of this month I will fly back to my home town of Thoubal. I will spend few weeks with my family and friends there before leaving for Goa,” said Meitei.</p>
