<p>Mahajan is on a bride hunting mission with reality show 'RDLJ-Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega' in the second season of NDTV's Imagine's popular programme, which saw item-girl Rakhi Sawant getting engaged to NRI businessman Elesh Parjunwala.<br /><br />Mahajan, who was in the capital today for the launch of his "Swayamwar", will be chased by 16 eligible beauties from different parts of the country, who will fight to become his bride.<br /><br />"I want a genuine partner as my wife, fake attitude won't work for me. This is what I am looking forward to in my would be wife. One experience did not work out for me but I am optimistic to get my dream partner," Mahajan told reporters here.<br /><br />Despite a failed marriage behind him, Mahajan is confident that he will get his dream partner through the 30-episode show. He is looking forward to tie the knot in March next year.<br /><br />"I have everything in my life except for a perfect life partner and this platform will help me reach out to that person," Rahul, son of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan said.<br /><br />He shot into limelight after a drug overdose incident which led him to the hospital. His marriage in 2006 to his sweetheart of 13 years Shweta Singh, hit the headlines after Shweta accused him of domestic violence. The marriage was dissolved through mutual consent later.<br /><br />Mahajan made his foray into television with "Bigg Boss 2" where his proximity to female co-stars, especially Payal Rohatgi and Monica Bedi, kept the rumour mills busy.<br /><br />He has become one of the emerging stars of reality shows with his success in "Bigg Boss", "Chhote Miyan" and now "RDLJ".<br /><br />However, the show, which collected highest TRPs on the small screen is currently in the middle of a storm due to rumours of a break up between Rakhi Sawant and her chosen groom Elesh Parujanwalah, an NRI from Canada.<br /><br />But Sameer Nair, the CEO of NDTV Imagine, has dismissed break-up rumours between Rakhi and Elesh.<br /><br />"Our show is a platform to provide a life partner and if the couple do not end up together due to certain misunderstandings, the channel is not responsible for it," Nair said.<br /><br />"As far as Rakhi 's break-up is concerned, I have not received any information about it. It can be a small fight or just a misunderstanding which is but natural in a relationship, this in no way will affect the credibility of the show," adds Nair.</p>
