<p>Camilla Parker-Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall and wife of Prince Charles, arrived in the City on Saturday for a weeklong holistic healing session at a facility in Whitefield.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Camilla, accompanied by her daughter Laura Lopes and eight personal staff, touched down at Bengaluru International Airport on Saturday afternoon and was received by Ian Felton, the British Deputy High Commissioner in Bangalore.<br /><br />The duchess right away checked into Dr Issac Mathai’s Soukhya Holistic Health Centre at Whitefield where she would undergo several ayurveda and naturopathy procedures like yoga, mud therapy and hydro-therapy and will be on a South Indian vegetarian, organic diet, sources said.<br /><br />Dr Mathai has been a health adviser for the British royal family for the past two years. <br />The health centre authorities refused to divulge information on Camilla, saying they would brief the media on October 31. <br /><br />They confirmed that the Duchess was not accompanied by Prince Charles. She will be staying in the City till November 2.<br /><br />A N Swamy, DCP (VIP security), told Deccan Herald that the Duchess of Cornwall was strictly on a private visit and she had no other appointments during her stay here.
