<p>Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayana reached Delhi Monday for consultations with top leadership of the Congress party over Telangana issue.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The two leaders reached the national capital by an early morning flight. The party leadership had summoned them for consultations before taking a decision on the vexatious issue. <br /><br />They are likely to meet Congress general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is also in charge of party affairs in the state, and other central leaders. <br /><br />Besides Telangana, the latest political developments in the state and issues related to the party and the government may also come up for discussion.<br /><br />After an all-party meeting on Telangana Dec 28, Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde had declared that a decision on Telangana would be announced within a month. However, a day before the month's deadline ended, both Shinde and Azad said some more time was required for consultations.<br /><br />Azad had said the party would have consultations with the chief minister, state party chief and leaders of all three regions - Telangana, Andhra and Rayalaseema.<br />Protesting the delay in taking the decision, seven Congress MPs from Telangana last week sent their resignations both from the Parliament and the party to party president Sonia Gandhi.</p>
