Cycle to work once a week, says social activist

Social activist P Mallesh said, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should make ‘cycle to work once a week’ mandatory and make Karnataka a model State.

After launching a cycle rally in front of Chamarajeshwaraswamy temple here, recently, he said, we can reduce the usage of petrol and diesel by using cycle once in a week.

Since there are legal hurdles to make the drive mandatory, a cycle jatha has been taken up to create awareness, he said.

Veteran theatre person K Venkataraju, Nijadhwani Govindaraju and others were present.
