<p>As part of celebrations of its fifth anniversary in the country, Kula Lumpur-based budget airliner AirAsia has announced a campaign with three million promotional seats across various destinations.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Passengers will be able to travel from May 5, 2014 to January 31, 2015 under the "free seats" campaign. The bookings for the promotional seats with zero base fare and applicable taxes and fee from Rs 500 (for oneway) are available from today till December 1 next, AirAsia said in a statement here.<br /><br />Besides, the airliner would also offer Rs 500 as base fare as part of the anniversary celebrations, a company statement said here, the headquarters of Airasia India.<br /><br />The all-in-fares inclusive of taxes and fees begin from Rs 2,259 from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur (for one way route), Rs 2,704 from Chennai to Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3,269 from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3,228 from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />AirAsia has also introduced "fly-thru" service from Chennai to various destinations including Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, Macau, Singapore.<br /><br />The Fly-Thru service enables passengers to connect flights from one destination to another without facing any hardships in collecting their bags at any transit point, the statement added.</p>
