<p>The Indian embassy in Kiev has asked all Indians in Ukraine to register on its website with all necessary details so that they could be contacted quickly in case of any eventuality.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“Indians in Ukraine, especially students, are strongly advised to register themselves on the embassy’s website and provide necessary contact details therein. This would facilitate embassy’s efforts in disseminating relevant information,” the embassy stated in a fresh advisory.<br /><br />Altogether 3,839 Indian citizens received higher education in Ukraine, mostly in medical sciences, in 2012-13. The number of Indians presently studying in Ukraine is estimated to be close to 4,000.<br /><br />Sources in New Delhi said that the government had not yet planned evacuation of the Indians from Ukraine, although the respective agencies had been instructed to be prepared for any eventuality.</p>
