<p>A Bangladeshi aircraft caught fire while landing at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Monday afternoon, officials said.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Airport police said the wheels of Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG702 caught fire when it touched down at the airport at around 2 p.m., Xinhua reported.<br /><br />Fire fighters at TIA soon brought the minor fire under control and the passengers were evacuated.<br /><br />"The aircraft has now been parked at the airport's hangar and its scheduled return to Dhaka at 3.10 p.m. has been cancelled," a high level source at the TIA told Xinhua.<br /><br />A team of technicians will arrive here from Bangladesh Tuesday to determine if the aircraft can resume operations.<br /><br /></p>
