Deccan Herald had in May reported that Bengaluru-based Federation of Anglo-Indian Associations in India had urged the President to take action in filling the seats.<br /><br />"The President has nominated Prof Richard Hay and George Baker as members of the Anglo-Indian Community to the Lok Sabha, today," a statement from the Union Home Ministry said.</p>
