As for chikungunya, 1,321 cases have been reported in Karnataka; 367 in BBMP limits alone. <br /><br />Officials from civic bodies and students from schools and colleges in the surrounding areas would attend it.<br /><br />Doctors say the number of cases has been coming down steadily, though sporadic cases are still being reported. A Palike official said Hebbal, Yelahanka and RT Nagar reported many chikungunya and dengue cases. <br /><br />Bengaluru also saw several viral arthritis cases last month, but this is on the decline. “We would see about 20 cases daily. Now, it’s just about four a day,” said Ajit Benedict Royan of Hosmat Hospital.</p>
