Hurricane Bells' song 'Monsters' featured in the 'New Moon', the second movie in the vampire romance series.

"The track was a little too heavy and I left it off the record, it was like a bonus track. Back in July, I gave it to my publishers and when they told me it has been taken for the movie I was like wow and then it changed everything," Steve Schiltz, the frontman of 'Hurricane Bells' said.

Schiltz, who is a fan of Indian music maestro AR Rahman is in India touring different cities with his band.

Schiltz said he was left spell-bound after listening to Rahman in Oscar-winning movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' and is keen on makng music for the Indian film industry, Bollywood.
"I would love to do Bollywood after listening to Rahman in 'Slumdog Millionaire'. I loved the music and I heard that it was not his best," he said.

But Schiltz who will spend the year touring and working on his second record, is still to catch up with Bollywood music.

"The only Indian music we listened to was traditional music played in Indian restaurants and I haven't listened to Bollywood songs. I would love to incorporate Indian sounds, especially the dholak but I don't know how to play it," he said.

Schiltz was associated as a singer and guitarist with the band 'Longwave' for nearly ten years and formed Hurricane Bells when a band member quit the group for personal reasons.

"I was with another band for ten years and then I went solso last year, which became Hurricane Bells so basically I played everything on it. One of the extra songs got picked up for the movie and it changed everything," said Schiltz, who performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in the capital.

The band who have a song called 'Tonight is the Ghost' on the itunes list say that their other works are a lot more mellow that the 'Twilight' track.

"Everything went too fast so we couldn't come out with an album, but it's on itunes called 'Tonight is the Ghost'. The tracks are late night records, you chill out and put candles that's what it is all about," he said.

Despite all the fame 'Twilight: New Moon' showered on Schiltz, he was not able to catch a glimpse of Hollywood hunk Robert Pattinson.

"I did not meet Robert Pattinson when I went to the red carpet premier in Los Angeles but I did meet the other actors, they were great and the movie is very big," he said.
The Twilight tag clings onto Hurricane Bells but Schiltz insist that it's not the end of the day and he would like to move ahead in life.

"It just happened and this was the biggest thing but it just got me the money to make more music and didn't make a major impact on my music. All it really means is I am getting enough time and money to make another record," he said.
