Logan Lerman to play Spidey ?

The 18-year-old actor, whose latest release is 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief', has said that he is in talks to play the superhero's alter-ego, Peter Parker, in a movie prequel, Contactmusic reported.

"There have been a few discussions, it's definitely something I'm looking into. It's one of my favourite characters ever and I'm a huge fan of the series. I'd love to have more conversations about it. I'm definitely very interested in it," Lerman said in a radio programme.

Talks about the prequel started when Maguire and 'Spider-Man 4' director Sam Raimi quit the project last month, forcing Sony bosses to go in a different direction with their superhero film franchise.
