HMT to set up a modern engineering workshop in Tajikistan

HMT(I) would supply various modern CNC machine tools, die sinking machines, robot, equipment and also train Tajik personnel in India in operation and maintenance of machines.Indian experts would be involved in installation and commissioning of the machines and equipment and provide on-the-job training to the Tajik University personnel in Tajikistan.

The project is scheduled for completion within 13 months, HMT(I) said in a statement.HMT(I), a Government of India's Mini-Ratna company, exports products manufactured by HMT Group Companies as well as other Indian manufacturers and also undertakes projects and services abroad.It has set up many engineering projects in various countries including Mauritius, Maldives,Senegal, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Tanzania and Sri Lanka.HMT(I) is currently implementing projects in Zimbabwe, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Myanmar and Indonesia.
