The pro-Kannada activist will take out a procession called ‘Premada Meravanige’, complete with four horses and an orchestra band. The rally will start at 11 am from Queen Victoria’s statue and pass through M G Road, Brigade Road, Residency Road.
Vatal Nagaraj told mediapersons that he was extending his support to the Valentine’s Day celebrations and denounced all those who are opposed to the idea of a special day for the lovers.
When asked what drove him to extend his support, the pro-Kannada activist, who runs his own political outfit called ‘Kannada Chalavali Vatal Paksha’, said his idea is to discourage the fanatic zealots who are opposed to the Valentine’s Day. He said he would not subscribe to the idea that expression of love is vulgarity.
“Love is divine. The entire creation is running due to love, let it be birds, animals or humans. We should not hate or oppose such ideas. If we start hating love then we will be hating the creation,” said Vatal Nagaraj.
