<p>Forward Jotin Singh continued his fine form to guide Army Service Corps and Centre to a 2-0 win over DYES at the Bangalore Football Stadium here on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Jotin opened the scoring for ASC with an acrobatic scissor volley in the 19th minute and added another in the 30th minute with a well placed shot into the bottom left corner of the DYES net.<br /><br />ASC began the game brighter of the two and scored from their first real chance of the game. <br /><br />Jotin started the move with a defence-splitting pass from the midfield to winger Aroj Shaikh on the left flank. Aroj then floated in an inviting cross back to Jotin, who adjusted himself brilliantly to nail an audicious attempt from inside the box past DYES goalkeeper Sunil Kumar at the far post.<br /><br />ASC soon doubled their tally. Deepak Singh made a darting run down the right flank in the opponent’s half and sent inside the box a low ball, which was deflected by the DYES defender. However, Jotin, lurking in the area, grabbed the loose ball and drilled it past a helpless Sunil. <br /><br />In the second period, DYES missed a good chance to reduce the lead in the 51st minute. Midfielder Ravi Kumar, finding himself in plenty of space inside the ASC box, blasted his shot over the bar after receiving a perfectly-weighted pass from midfielder Vikash.<br /><br />In the 69th minute, Jotin was denied a hat-trick when his effort from inside the box hit the post.<br /><br />Earlier in the ‘A’ Division, Parikrama rallied from two goals down to settle for a 2-2 draw against Sri Gajanana.<br /><br />Gajanana led through goals from Stephen (9th minute) and Jackey (50th minute). But strikes from Nikhil (63rd minute) and Andrew (73rd minute) levelled the scores for Parikrama.<br /></p>
