<p> According to the report, a delegation from India will soon visit Qatar to discuss prospects for investment. India permits 100 per cent foreign direct investment in power generation, transmission and distribution. India, which has the fifth largest electricity generation capacity in the world needs investments worth about USD 167 billion in the power sector during 2007-12 period in order to add more than 90,000 MW of generation capacity.</p>
