<p class="title">A former employee of BEL and his wife were found murdered at their house in East Bengaluru on Tuesday night, police said. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Govindan (65) and Sarojamma (60), of 2nd Cross, Ashwathnagar, HAL, are suspected to have been murdered two days ago. Their highly decomposed bodies were discovered around 8.45 pm. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Neighbours called the police after foul smell emanated from the house. "Our men went there and found the highly decomposed bodies lying on the ground," Abdul Ahad, DCP (Whitefield), told <span class="italic"><em>DH</em></span>. There were massive injuries all over the bodies. The killers must have forcibly entered the house which they went on to ransack. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Police suspect the couple was murdered for gain. "Jewellery and cash are missing," he added. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Police are reviewing the footage of CCTV cameras installed near the house to identify the killers. They are also questioning neighbours and the couple's family to ascertain if the deceased had any rivalry or property dispute.</p>
