<p>Acting on specific information, security forces launched an operation in Tangdhar near the Line of Control, 140 kms from here, last evening.<br /><br />As the search party reached the area, the militants hiding there opened fire resulting in injuries to two securitymen. A gunbattle then broke out between the two sides and was continuing when reports last came in.<br /><br />Five militants are believed to be hiding in the area which is close to the LoC, police said.</p>
