After issuing the final notification, layout development will be taken up, he told reporters.<br /><br />For the proposed three other layouts- D Devaraj Urs Layout, Kyasambahalli Chagalaraya Reddy Layout and S Nijalingappa Layout- the BDA is making preparations to issue preliminary notification for land acquisition, he said.<br /><br />Newly-added areas<br /><br />Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu said BDA has taken up 1,554 projects to provide amenities, including road asphalting, underground drainage, culverts, drinking water supply, parks and others, at the cost Rs 650 crore in the newly-added areas of BBMP.<br />The Minister, who reviewed the progress of these projects along with some city MLAs, including Krishna Byre Gowda, Aravind Limbavali and Shobha Karandlaje, said BDA has been directed to cover asphalt work in places that have been left out in all assembly constituencies. Rs 10 crore has been released for this purpose to each constituency, he added.<br /><br />BDA has given Rs 110 crore to BWSSB to provide drinking water supply and sanitation facilities in the newly-added areas. The Authority has given Rs 50 crore to BBMP for widening roads in the City, he said and added that directions have been issued to the officials to complete these projects within next two months.</p>
