The state government has proposed to acquire around 25,000 acre land for the purpose which will include 1,200 acre for setting up of power plant, 200 acres for water collection and 100 acres for residential purposes.<br /><br />For energy production, 1,120 million tonnes of coal and 135 million cubic metre of water will be needed, they said. The state's Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ramvichar Netam said that 30 residences in 11 villages will be displaced for the purpose.</p>
