<p>Close on the heels of a new high in inflation and deregulation of oil prices comes “Hendthir Darbar”. Honest and hardworking husband (Ramesh), the housewife with dreams (Meena) and their two children are neighbours to Peter (Sadhu Kokila) and Stella (Ambika Soni). <br />Enter politician Veera Narasimha (Raghu) and their lives change. But is it for better or worse? The first half of “Hendthir...” impresses with a tight screenplay and, some believable dialogues by S Mohan with little in terms of vulgarity.
