Speaking after inaugurating of a day’s workshop for the farmers organised by Mysore Acchukattu Abhivrudhi Pradhikara (KADA) in Thorenooru Water Consumers Co-operative Society on Tuesday, he called upon the farmers to be cautious while consuming water by preventing the excessive water usage.
Harangi Water Board President S C Chadegowda too urged the farmers for the proper management of water along with examining the construction works taking place in catchment region.
Assistant Director of CADA Dr J Sathishchandra said that the association has been stressing on the developmental activities of agriculture. The retired assistant agricultural director from Mysore H M Hombayya interacted with the farmers about the water management.
Association President T M Shivappa presided over the function. Harangi Water Board Vice-President N P Mahadevappa, Gram Panchayat President T K Vasanth and Vice President P D Ravi Kumar were present.
