<p>According to the police, 22-year-old Harjinder Singh went to meet his lover, 17-year-old Lovepreet Kaur, at Chandpurana village around midnight on Wednesday.<br /><br />The girl’s father was alerted when Harjinder went to her daughter’s room. In a fit of rage, the accused took out his gun and fired at them killing both on the spot, police said.<br /><br />Harjinder’s brother, who was waiting outside the house, rushed inside after hearing the gunshots and sustained bullet injuries on his legs. The accused is absconding after the incident.</p>
