<p>Help has been pouring in for the family of Deepak Rao who was hacked to death by miscreants at Katipalla on January 3.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Deepak was the sole breadwinner of the family comprising his mother Premalatha and his brother. Following a call given by his friends and later by the BJP leaders to lend a helping hand to Deepak's mother, people have been contributing generously to her account. As on Saturday evening, Premalatha's account has received Rs 31,26,367.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It was a spontaneous call to raise funds for the family. The messages were circulated in social media including Twitter. The BJP DK unit will give Rs 5 lakh to the family while former minister Krishna Palemar has announced Rs 5 lakh to the family. The district administration has also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family.</p>
