Rasta roko, dharna, argument with Bescom officials mark protest against power cut
Farmers cry foul over unscheduled load shedding  
Farmers staged a protest against power cut and held rasta roko in front of Bescom sub station in Tamaka and at Kolar-KGF checkpost on Tuesday.
Raitha Sangh: Recovery of money due to farmers  
The district administration has failed to recover the dues to be paid to the farmers by the sugar factories, the Rajya Raitha Sangha has alleged.
'District library has good facilities'  
Basic facilities are provided at the Chintamani district library, thereby facilitating the library goers to make best use of the opportunity, said District Central Library Chief Librarian B R Hiremath.
Acid attack victim given compensation  
The Women and Child Welfare department handed over a cheque for Rs 20,000 as compensation to an acid victim here on Tuesday.
