Addressing journalists on the sidelines of a public hearing on the formation of new taluks here on Tuesday, he said prior to the final report, a draft report would be prepared and made public through newspapers in November.

Proposals urging the formation of 85 new taluks have been received by the committee that has toured in 12 districts so far. About 80-90 per cent of the demands are the same that were received by the earlier Hundekar or Vasudev Rao Committees.

However, while making the final recommendation, the present committee will not consider them, Mr Prakash stressed.
