Dr Joseph V G – Chairman, Garden City College has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Maldives in Bangalore.  The appointment of Dr Joseph as the Honorary Consul is a tribute to his services in the field of education and a great honour for the State of Karnataka, said a release from the College.

Seminar

India International School has organised a one-day regional teachers seminar on its campus on Sept 5 for principals and teachers of ICSE, CBSE and State Board Schools and student teachers of Teachers Training Colleges.

Teachers and Principals could send papers on creative teaching methodologies. The shortlisted papers will be presented by the teachers / principals at the seminar. There will be an interactive session with principals and teachers also. Topics of the paper are: Teacher as a leader, An analysis of teaching styles, methodology and approaches of teaching (use of technology), handling 21st century classrooms, creative teaching, motivating the reluctant learners and developing creative and thinking skills. Revamped

The BJP City unit has revamped its constituency office bearers in 12 assembly segments under Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike limits. The reconstitution comes in the wake of the redrawing of constituency as per the  recommendation of the Delimitation Commission.
