A 40 day-long National Consumer Fair (NCF) will be held at Karavali Utsav Grounds, Mangala Stadium. The fair will be inaugurated on August 29 by District-in-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar while Mayor Ganesh Hosabettu, MLAs N Yogish Bhat and U T Khader will be the chief guests.

Addressing a news conference, NCF Director Gautham A informed that this year the entire super structure is made to be dust free and more than 1000 products both national and international will be found under single roof. Apart from this there will amusement section too with over 25 amusement rides to entertain the consumers.
The entry fee is fixed at Rs 20 for adults and children above 5 years.
