Wall demolished

KGF, dhns: The public staged a protest in front of the BEML officials till Tuesday midnight against the erection of a wall surrounding the BEML guest house by the BEML administrative board.

Heated exchange of words took place between the BEML security guards and the public over the erection. They said that the wall has been obstructing the movement of the public. 

As the members of BEML administrative board were firm on their stand, the public resorted to strike.

However, the problem was resolved after Member of Legislative Assembly M Narayanaswamy held talks with the administrative board members and convinced them to demolish the wall for public convenience.

MLA M Narayanasamy later discussed the matter with Union Minister K H Muniyappa and Managing Director Natarajan. The BEML has assured to provide 12 feet space for the convenience of the public, said sources.
