Two people were attacked in separate incidents in Mangalore on Wednesday night, sparking tension in the city.
SP Satish Kumar said one Bhaskar was attacked on BC road around 8:45 pm and one Anil was assaulted with iron rods in Bajpe at 10 pm.
Additional forces
The injured, who were activists of Hindu organisations, have been admitted to hospitals. Additional forces have been deployed in both the places.
After the BC road incident, one private bus was stoned in Alape. Following the incident, shop keepers downed their shutters on BC Road.
