PM Modi holds bilateral talks with UK PM Rishi Sunak, calls it a ‘fruitful meeting’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with UK PM Rishi Sunak in Hiroshima. Both leaders held talks on the sidelines of the 49th G7 Leaders’ Summit in Japan on May 20. Prime Minister Modi called the meeting with Rishi Sunak a very ‘fruitful’ one. Both leaders held discussions regarding cooperation in trade, innovation, science and other sectors. PM Modi was in Japan to attend the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Japan. India was invited as a guest country for the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Hiroshima. During his visit, PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with his Japanese Counterpart Fumio Kishida. PM Modi departed for Papua New Guinea on May 21 after attending the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan. He will be received by the PM of Papua New Guinea upon his arrival at Port Moresby.
